Early this morning, I needed to make a left-hand turn at a traffic light.  The light was yellow, I was in the intersection, and I could see the headlights of an oncoming car.  I wasn’t sure if the other driver would stop in time, or run the red light.  I had to wait patiently, but finally the oncoming car quickly stopped and I was finally able to clear the intersection.  I had errands to run, but I wanted – no I needed – to make sure that when I made my turn in front of the oncoming car, we both would …
