Recently, I was riding on the freeway with my teenage son.  Usually, I’d drive, but this time my son drove because I was taking a strong pain killer.  As we travelled, I was impressed with how safely my son was driving.  Most of all, I was impressed with the distance he kept between him and the car ahead of him, which was usually five seconds or more.  I don’t know if my son learned this from my example, or if he learned in his driver’s training.  Regardless, I’m glad my son is learning to …
