I’m currently reading a book that connects success and thought processes, emphasizing learning and our attitude towards it. Without delving into the psychology of the book, I see a strong correlation between the successes defined in the book and our perception of safety. One frame of mind is, “I don’t have any accidents, so I must be safe.” The other is, “It’s a challenging world out there. How can I be safer?” In writing these tidbits, I try to encourage the second mindset.
