Last week, after picking up a prescription, I was leaving the pharmacy when I saw a fellow sitting on the side of the parking lot. Literally, he was on the pavement, a large pickup truck parked just a few inches away, and several people were gathered around to help. I could tell that a minor accident had just happened. The driver may have been distracted or possibly had miscalculated the pedestrian’s actions. The paramedics and police were arriving as I was leaving.
