Vacation

I need to take a vacation.  Not from work, but from writing tidbits.  I’ve been writing a tidbit once a week for the better part of the last five years. (I was writing at work before I started posting online.)  Maybe I’ll skip next week, or maybe not.  But it doesn’t matter if I write or not, I’ll still  always try to…

Labor Day, Newspaper, Reporter

Yesterday was Labor Day, which traditionally marks the end of summer.  One of the headlines on my local newspaper indicated this weekend was quieter than the usual Labor Day weekend as far as traffic and safety accidents – at least in my corner of the world.  As I read the article, I got the feeling that the feeling that the reporter had to dig a little to find something she considered newsworthy.  Unfortunately, two individuals were listed in the article as fatalities in an accident in a recreational area south from here.  Personally, I don’t want to make it easy for any reporter.  Some things I can do to stay out of the new is to focus on doing my tasks safely, allow myself time, and in other ways always try to …
